Della Toffola’s industrial plate filters presses are designed for filtering lees and, with the addition of a centrifugal pump, also wines, must, and byproducts of the winemaking process.
They are based on a tried and tested technology that Della Toffola has been applying for decades, and have always been a simple and effective solution for all the processes that involve separating the liquid phase from the solids in suspension. These industrial filters presses enable the retrieval of the liquid part still contained in the lees, while also obtaining solid cakes rich in materials suitable for use in the industries that process the byproducts of winemaking. Made with the best materials and components, they are extremely reliable and durable.
All the parts in contact with the product are made of AISI 304 stainless steel. The units are all complete with a feed pump and a hydraulic system for manually or automatically closing the filter.
The industrial filter press pack consists of plastic plates with a central manifold for distributing the product to filter and manifolds at the corners for collecting the filtrate.
Each filter plate is complete with a sheet of polypropylene fabric.
